All I See Is You
ALL I SEE IS YOU
Written By Catherine Vartain-Frilund
I’ve forgotten all my troubles now that I can fly with you
All my demons, left them screaming with this newfound point of view
What if I enjoy this moment like I never ever do
for fear of losing you?
My eyes sparkle in the sunshine, baby, yours are blueish gray
Every freckle on your body is a spot my fingers trace
All the world’s falling to pieces but I look at only you
and I feel warm and safe
I’m such a perfectionist
I swear I could find flaws in heaven
Walls are thick and bridges tall
I dare someone to try and tread them
But you
You softened me right through
You melt away my wounds
You change my point of view
Now all I see is you
All my poetry is tragic because that is how I feel
But you work me with your magic breaking down my strongest steel
Every part of you is sweetness like I didn’t know was real
before but now I know
Tell you all my darkest secrets locked within my deepest tombs
All my maladaptive daydreaming that ate away my youth
Now I’m thanking every star I wished on for giving me
you, my darling, you
I’m such a perfectionist
I swear I could find flaws in heaven
Walls are thick and bridges tall
I dare someone to try and tread them
But you
You softened me right through
You melt away my wounds
You change my point of view
Now all I see is you
